Solution Associates (Private) Limited (SAPL) carried out its 4th consecutive and 9th overall Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, showing its strong commitment to helping local communities and supporting education in Sri Lanka.

To celebrate its 16th anniversary, SAPL’s welfare society led a special CSR activity at Galpatha Junior School in Kalutara. The project focused on improving the school’s facilities and giving students a better learning environment.

The SAPL team donated many useful items, including three large scouting tents, a television with a portable stand, whiteboards, sports equipment, and stationery packs for all 105 students. They also provided school supplies for the entire primary section, snacks, and other essential items.

The students welcomed the SAPL team with smiles and joy, making the event a heartwarming experience for everyone involved. Their happiness and gratitude touched the SAPL team deeply and created a strong bond between the company and the school community.

This project is part of SAPL’s ongoing mission to give back to society. By supporting education, SAPL is not only helping today’s students but also building a stronger foundation for the future. The company believes that supporting schools and children is a meaningful way to bring lasting positive change.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Solution Associates (Pvt) Ltd. (SAPL) took a generous step to support the mental health sector in Sri Lanka. On March 1, 2024, Team SAPL donated essential equipment to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in Angoda.

The donated items included electric fans, televisions, rice cookers, and clothing. These much-needed items were given to improve the comfort and day-to-day experience of patients at the hospital. The main goal of the initiative was to help enhance the mental well-being of the patients by providing a more pleasant and supportive environment.

During the visit, Team SAPL also took time to recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers. These professionals play a vital role in caring for patients and supporting the community. Their tireless efforts often go unnoticed, and SAPL made it a point to thank them for their service.

In response, the doctors and nurses at NIMH warmly welcomed the donations and expressed their heartfelt gratitude. They also kindly requested more such contributions in the future, noting that many patients rely on the hospital for essential treatments and care.

SAPL extended special thanks to Dr (Mrs.) Dhammika Wijesinghe, Director of NIMH, for giving the company the opportunity to carry out this meaningful project. Thanks were also given to the Nursing Sisters and the hospital staff for their warm welcome and for educating the SAPL team on the services provided at NIMH.
